Entertainer Amy Schumer has disclosed that she and her husband, chef Chris Fischer are divorcing after seven years of marriage.
The Trainwreck star said in a social media post on Friday, paired with an image of them riding public transit, that they had made the "tough choice" to split and will continue to focus on raising their son, who is six.
"Amicable and all love and respect! Family forever," she wrote.
Schumer, 44, and Fischer, 45, tied the knot in February 2018 and had their son a year later.
Light-Hearted Comments on Split
Schumer also joked in the Instagram post that the split is not due to recent weight loss and not prompted by Fischer's status as an "decorated cook who can still pull some hot tail".
